A Day in the Life of a Material Handler:
Repairs defective wooden fruit bins using appropriate tools in a safe manner.
Maintains single minded focus on Safety, Quality and Productivity at all times
Responsible for the safe operation of tools, equipment and machinery
Responsible and accountable for the continuous clean-up of the work area to maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
Must maintain accurate production, quality and operational records as required
Pack and fill cases at a regulated pace
Advise the supervisor of any operational problems, equipment failure, and safety or quality concerns.
Required to attend work on a timely and consistent basis.
Ability to work overtime as required.
What We Are Looking For:
Knowledgeable in the safe operation of bin repair tools.
Possess the ability to comprehend and carry-out instructions provided in oral, written, and diagram format.
Capable of performing basic mathematical functions in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Aware of, and adhere to the established GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices). Forklift driving experience is desired.
Able to read and comprehend safety documents, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must be able to safely and efficiently use a hydraulic lifting device.
Must be knowledgeable of, and adhere to established GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices).
High School/GED Required
