Position Responsibilities include but not limited to

  • Manage inventory levels within MRP system, and accurately transact material within various inventory locations

  • Receiving Inventory into MRP system while collecting data, scanning documentation, performing kick & count function

  • Maintaining accurate inventory counts and stock locations with MRP/ERP system

  • Perform daily cycle counts

  • Report daily cycle count findings and able to interact with Cost Accounting/Finance

  • Report and track material stock levels

  • Understanding of ABCD Categorization and implementation

  • Perform kitting function as demanded by Production in a timely and accurate manner

  • Ensuring all incoming parts have been received accurately and distributed to stock and stakeholders

  • Responsible for maintaining a clean work area and department

  • Package and stage Finished goods for shipments

  • Schedule Domestic/International outbound/inbound shipments using various couriers (UPS, FEDEX, DHL,) to ensure Production/Customer schedules are met

  • Track shipping charges incurred and report back to Supervisor

  • Capable of doing Daily pickups/drop offs between Divergent and Suppliers and track mileage, time allocation between pick up/drop off using the Department Truck

  • Operate a forklift, pallet jack or scissor lift to move material between Production and Inventory

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, IT, Manufacturing Teams to initiate new process plans and execute while maintaining a high level understanding how it integrates to Supply Chain - Warehouse

  • Support the department and Organization metric goals and objectives

  • Support team members to promote continuous improvements and hold all to high working standards

  • Develop and maintain KPI's monthly

  • Follow all procedures, 5s, standard operating procedures

  • This role will require you to be onsite 5 days a week and possible weekend Production support to meet schedules

  • Perform all other duties assigned by Supervisor and/or Manager

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction but under guidance from Supervisor.

  • Experience and understanding of Inventory and Kitting Processes

  • Proficient using Microsoft Products(Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio)

  • Experience with Manufacturo, JIRA

  • Knowledge of MRP/ERP Systems, Oracle preferably

  • Experience in Aerospace, Automotive, or Manufacturing

  • Strong organizational skills and able to prioritize effectively and efficiently

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced /cross functional environment

  • Excellent communication and team-building skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexible to shift schedules depending on department/company requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

  • Load and unload delivery trucks utilizing machinery equipment (pallet jack/forklift)

  • Must be able to work in areas that are loud for 8+ hours

  • Ability to stand, bend for prolonged periods at a time

$23.25 - $31 an hour
