Material Handler II - Inventory

Daikin Applied is now hiring a full-time Material Handler with a focus on Inventory in our Dayton, OH Distribution Center.

1st shift Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Starting pay - $18+ DOE

$500 Sign-On Bonus*

Summary:Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Executes replenishment plan but fulfilling restock tasks

• Supports Inventory Analyst in slotting and consolidation efforts

• Able to backfill Inventory Control

• Able to operate all Material Handling Equipment in the facility

• Ability to backfill in various roles through out the facility

• Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production

sheet

• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases or containers

• Packs and prepares cartons for shipping to customers. Ensures accuracy of order and security of

packaging to avoid damage in shipment

• Secure certain larger items in crates, either by building from scratch or using an empty crate on

hand

• Use crate shop equipment when required. Such as table saws, nail gun and staple gun

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of Industrial Vehicle operating experience preferred
