Material Handler I

Volt is immediately hiring for a Material handler at Fuquay Varina, NC.

As a Material handler, you will:

• Assesses material needs and develops forecasts for assigned production area at the beginning of the shift and orders materials to support the production schedule.

• Transports materials, including raw materials, components, packaging materials, finished goods and/or scrap, to/from production floor.

• Completes required paperwork to accompany outgoing materials such as intercompany bills- of-lading.

• Prepares outgoing materials using a variety of methods including, scanning, labeling, wrapping.

• Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.

• Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift or pallet jack.

• Posts weights and shipping charges.

This is a Full-Time Contract opportunity.

Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Candidate must have Sit-down and Stand-up Forklift experience.

• High School diploma/ GED or higher education required.

Payrate Range in Between - $13- $14.50/hourly

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
