Title: Material Handler / Forklift Operator
Reports To: Shipping / Receiving Supervisor

Thursday / 3:00pm

The purpose of this position is to provide timely and accurate service to the Warehouse Manager, Production Manager, Line Leaders, Assistant Line Leaders and customers by staging raw product, loading trucks, and checking in components received.
Practice safe forklift operation
Perform required forklift maintenance
Pull order components from the Warehouse and locate in a designated staging area.
Correctly restock production returns into the warehouse
Conduct cycle counts/month end inventories as requested.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Follow policies and procedures as designated by ISO standards
Forklift operator training certification required
Ability to understand and meet ISO 9000 requirements
Ability to understand and meet quality systems documentation requirements.
Must have excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to work with all different types of people
Must be a self-starter

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
This position is routinely required to work in an environment that produces a loud amount of noise.
This position is required to stand and walk up to 1/3 or the time. This position is required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or touch.
Will verbally communicate and hear more than 2/3 of the time. This position does require the individual to lift up to 50 lbs. Close and color vision, as well as the ability to adjust focus are required to perform this position.
