Lumigen Material Handler
The Lumigen Material Handler is responsible for assisting in the Manufacturing workflow by properly storing, transporting, and preparing chemicals and supplies used in production and R&D processes.
The position is part of the Supply Chain department and would report to the Manager of Materials and planning.
The position would be responsible for the following:
Safely storing incoming raw materials
Transporting raw materials and finished goods, as needed, throughout the facility
Transporting and safely storing hazardous waste
Washing out 55-gallon drums and other large containers
The requirements of the position are the following:
Minimum of High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to climb stairs and ladders
Basic computer literacy (email, Word, Excel, etc)
The ideal candidate for the position would have:
A strong work ethic
Good communication skills
Good attention to detail
Previous experience in industrial materials/hazardous waste
