Material Handler, Cdl-A, Rigging

Great Lakes Roofing Corp. (GLRC) is immediately hiring a Material Handler with Class-A CDL to join the Crew in Germantown, WI. You'll play a vital role in every roofing project we complete by driving materials and equipment to job sites around Wisconsin. Warehouse duties combine with rigging and on-the-road time to create a diverse hands-on work experience.

Position: Material Handler with Class-A CDL

Employment type: Full-time with opportunities for overtime

NOTE: This job is based out of Germantown, WI

Responsibilities of our Material Handler with Class-A CDL :

• Load flat beds with materials and equipment, secure the loads, etc.

• Drive the loaded trucks to job sites and unload the materials

• Operate cranes (or assist with signaling) to load these supplies onto roofs

• Handle a forklift safely indoors AND in the yard

• Work outside in all weather in support of company objectives

• Participate in training as assigned

• Provide quality service to our customers around Wisconsin

• Learn to perform work according to company standards

• Collaborate with the Crew for the benefit of all

Requirements of our Material Handler with Class-A CDL :

• Valid, insurable CDL-A license in Wisconsin

• Able to obtain crane certification and complete additional training as needed

• Able to lift up to 50lbs. repeatedly

• Mobility to shift between forklifts, walking, stooping, driving, and lifting

• Confidence/ comfortable working at heights, roof-tops and ladders

• Occasional overnights are necessitated due to DOT regulations

• Start and end your typical work day at our Germantown, WI HUB
