Roles and Responsibilities:

Shipping:

  • Processing orders received from Customer Service

  • Receiving deliveries of pallets and small packages

  • Communicating with other Nutramax Employees on issues involving the Shipping and Receiving Department

  • Maintaining the cleanliness and security of the Warehouse

  • Maintaining inventory of finished product and packaging supplies in the Warehouse and Shipping Department

  • Safely operating the Nutramax Delivery Truck

  • Accurately performing cycle counts as requested by the Accounting Department

  • Weighing and/or labeling packages and prepare shipping request forms

  • Performing operations within the cGMP guidelines and SOPs

  • Organizing work to achieve daily goals with no errors or deficiencies

  • Identifying and reporting all discrepancies

  • Maintaining a clean and orderly work area throughout the day and participate in clean-up periods at the end of the shift

  • Ensuring that all warehouse equipment is operated in a safe and proper manner

  • Perform other assigned duties as may be required in meeting company objectives

  • Communicate effectively with other departments within the organization and function within a team environment.

Material Handling:

  • This person will support the Manufacturing and Packaging departments

  • Responsible for moving all raw materials and finished goods from the Warehouse to the Manufacturing area for production and storage

  • The Material Handler will act upon specific written and/or verbal instructions furnished by the Supervisor to organize and stage all finished product and operate miscellaneous related equipment such as the pallet jack.

  • Will be responsible for weighing product sent from manufacturing using scales.

  • Calibrate scales as needed per SOP SC-FA2004.

  • Will organize work to achieve daily goals and adhere to Safety Precautions and guidelines

  • Perform other assigned duties as may be required in meeting company objectives

  • Communicate effectively with other departments within the organization and function within a team environment.

Education & Experience:

At least one year of warehouse/forklift experience is needed.

Position requires a high school diploma or GED. Regularly required to stand, frequently required to use hands and arms to lift and reach and must be able to move drums up to 100 lbs.

This position is Monday through Friday. Additional hours may be required during the normal workday or on Friday or Saturday; therefore, individual must be able to work overtime.
