Follow established safe work practices to ensure a safe working environment.
Collects warps from racks and transport to loom
Load warps to loom and ensure collars and bearings are secure
Place unused shafts and flanges in frame
Put brake ropes on warps
Cut yarn off empty beams
Transport empty beams to Warping
Feed warpers with empty beams
Tighten up all beams with loose flanges
Collect warps from racks or warpers for weave room
Clean and sweep department when required
All other duties assigned
Required Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to read and write
Must be able to lift 20 lbs to head height
Must be able to work from heights 3ft stepladder
Operate powered industrial equipment (a.k.a. Powered Industrial Trucks
Must be able to comply with Powered Industrial Truck manufacturer's safety specifications including personal protective equipment and weight limit guidelines. The specifications are subject to change at any time and at the discretion of the manufacturer of the equipment
Design Group follows all CDC guidelines.
