Turner Industries is seeking an experienced Warehouse/ Material Coordinator in the Salt Lake City, UT area.
NO PER DIEM, ideal for local candidates
Proficient in SAP Materials Management
2-5 years experience in an industrial warehouse
Forklift Experience - Valid Driver's License REQUIRED
Insure stock is organized and stock levels are maintained
Receive deliveries, update SAP, stage materials ahead of planned and nonplanned maintenance activities
Ability to pass all required Safety Council Courses

General Job Description:
Works under the direction of a foreman, receives stores and distributes material, tools, equipment and products.
Functional Requirements:
Read and sign off on JSA prior to starting shift; supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in lifting, transporting, storing, and loading materials and products by use of conveyors, cranes, hoists, or industrial trucks, applying knowledge of plant layout and material-handling equipment and procedures; studies receiving or shipping notices, requests for movement of raw materials and finished products, and reports of warehousing space available to develop schedule for material handling activities; may confer with supervisors of other departments to coordinate flow of materials or products; may verify or prepare records, such as routing slips, material requisitions, and job orders; maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Qualification Standards:
Preferably one (1) to four (4) years of experience in specified skill
Basic computer skills preferred
Pre-employment qualification test if applicable
Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
Hazard Communication orientation/test

OSHA approved corrective eye wear (Z87)

Job site "Personal Protective Equipment" requirements (hearing protection, safety glasses, long sleeve shirt, gloves, steel toe boots, etc.)

Physical Involvement:
Employee may be required to do the following: climbing ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc. above and below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc.; reaching in all directions, handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes, hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lifting 30 to 50 pounds from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools equipment, etc.; standing; sitting; walking; pushing; pulling; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; crawling; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction.

Location: industrial maintenance and construction sites and/or office environment
Mobility Barriers to Access Job Site: uneven ground level; obstructed pathways; work performed at low and/or high elevations; work performed in confined area.
Climatic/Environmental Conditions at Job Site: may be exposed to extreme hot or cold weather, excessive humidity, rain, etc.; various noise levels caused by tools, machinery, equipment, etc.; potential exposure to chemical substances
