Overview:

Serve as one of three Supply Chain Material Coordinators, based out of the GOMBU Preservation & Maintenance Facility (PMF) in Gray, LA, and supporting operations across GOMBU.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Perform Goods Receipt and Issue for materials in respective area using SAP. Monitor Material Movement Form (MMF) log. Perform physical inventory for area of responsibility. Ensure that all stored material is adequately protected from deterioration or loss following established preservation processes and storage standards.

  • Manage material inventory for assigned area and collaborates w/ preservation team for proper PM alignment. Review, analyze and reconcile warehouse and lay down area monthly activity and inventory records and implement adjustments as needed. Analyze and adjust inventory levels consistent with demand and planned requirements.

  • Work with Investment Recovery Coordinator for proper disposition of surplus or obsolete materials & equipment.

  • Operator of site equipment such as Electric / Diesel / LP forklifts, Overhead Hoists, Crawler Crane, Manlift, etc..

  • Maintain all PMF site training requirements and certifications, such as Helicopter Landing Operator, Lifting & Rigging, Working at Heights, etc..

  • Provide oversight of PMF staff and 3rd Party service providers onsite to perform work using Job Safety Analyses, Permit to Work, Managing Safe Work, and Person Leading Work.

  • Provide functional guidance in related areas.

Required Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent

  • 3+ years using an inventory system such as SAP or equivalent

  • 5+ years using site equipment such as Electric / Diesel / LP forklifts, Overhead Hoists, Crawler Crane, Manlift, etc..

  • Maintain all PMF site training requirements and certifications, such as Helicopter Landing Operator, Lifting & Rigging, Working at Heights, etc..

  • Experience and understanding of corporate and BU inventory policies, purchasing policies, material classification, and basic finance and accounting principles (i.e., COPAS).

  • SAP / Ariba knowledge and warehouse management experience. Knowledge of wide range of materials and equipment, competency using inventory systems to assist in optimum financial decisions pertaining to appropriate inventory levels and support Preservation & Maintenance Program.

  • Continually seeks innovative ways to improve process or safety. Drives improvement efforts based on delivering value to external customers. Maintains business relationships with internal / external customers and other support organizations in the BU, such as Logistics, Ops, FE, etc..

  • Generates buy-in and alignment from key stakeholders. Engages and motivates others to contribute their best.

  • Good written, oral and presentation skills. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and influencing capabilities. Proactive communicator able to effectively communicate throughout various levels of the organization and cross-functionally. Strong ability to make decisions and demonstrated commitment to action. Builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Experience in food service sales preferred. Ability to perform essential duties and work in the conditions described below.
