  • Expert in the following areas: Software Tools (i.e. Eclipse, StarTeam); Software Implementation; Problem Solving

  • Medium Experience: Software Fundamentals; Software Troubleshooting; Software CIP; Software Algorithms; Software Systems Engineer; Software Design; Software Requirements; Technical Documentation; Product Development Life Cycle; Software Processes; User Interfaces (UI);

  • Limited Experience; Software Simulation; Factory Interface Software Systems; Data Acquisition, Storage and Analysis; "Small Gap" Control;

Key Responsibilities

  • Defines software specifications, and designs software solutions.

  • Designs and develops code for software projects and provides defect fixes.

  • Interfaces with external customers or vendors regarding software issues.

  • Interfaces with internal customers regarding requirements analysis and schedule.

  • Troubleshoots a wide range of complex, difficult software problems. Performs software tests on code and enhancements. Develops software documentation.

  • Compiles data for regularly scheduled or special reports, analysis and statements.

Functional Knowledge

  • Demonstrates conceptual and practical material control and movement knowledge

  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Office Suite

Business Expertise

  • Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services

Problem Solving

  • Solve complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information

Interpersonal Skills

  • Outstanding communications skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues

  • Able to break down difficult concepts in simple ways so the audience understands

  • Solid track record in building strong customer relationships

  • Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus

  • Ability to work in a diverse and ever changing environment

  • Ability to work with others

  • 4-7 years of Java development experience, including working onsite with customers

  • Knowledge of MCS and AMHS

  • Able to travel up to 25% of time

  • Bachelor's Degree


  • Knowledge of best practices and how an MCS integrates with other software in SEMI and Display FABs

  • General understanding of SEMI standards with a thorough understanding of SEMI standards E82 and E88

Database & Web Engineer This position is responsible for the development and design of various Business Intelligence reports, dashboards, scoreboards, and other solutions for customers and business needs. The Database & Web Engineer will work closely with different department leaders to design, develop and support business intelligence reports and dashboards. Essential Functions: * Design and produce API integrations with third parties and internal web pages to support BI needs * Use Microsoft WorkFlow and Forms Builder tools to automate processes and improve data integrity * Generate standard or custom reports using SSRS/ Tableau from summarized business, financial, or economic data for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders * Develop internal web applications as needed * Create or review business design documentation to ensure the accurate development of reporting solutions * Create business intelligence tools or systems, including design of related databases, spreadsheets, or outputs * Conduct or coordinate tests to ensure that intelligence is consistent with defined needs * Provide technical support for existing reports, dashboards, or other tools * Must be able to lift 15 lbs. Qualifications: * Two+ years of experience in the area of BI data warehousing and reporting, including substantial experience with Microsoft SQL 2012+ databases, stored procedures, and ETL processes. * Two + years of experience in Microsoft .NET 3.5+ with C#, ASP.NET (MFC and Windows Forms). * One+ years of experience with PHP, MySQL or related platforms. * SQL Server Reporting Services. * Tableau. * Documentation writing skills (BRDs/SOWs). * Great people skills, a positive and easygoing demeanor. * Ability to talk with non-technical departments and effectively communicate technical ideas and concepts. * Positive, people-oriented, and energetic attitude. * Analytical, creative, and innovative approach to solving problems. * Self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision. * Highly analytical data junkie who enjoys coding. * Advanced MS office skills, particularly in Excel. * Proven ability to deliver high-quality deliverables under tight deadlines. * The preferred candidate will have the following qualifications: * Advanced skills with SQL queries and stored procedures * Font end web development skills with .NET 3.5+ * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences or another related field * Some QA experience Measures of Merit: * TBD by supervisor within 90 days of hire.
