Occupational Summary

Coordinate and perform the clerical and manual tasks involved in the receipt, verification, storage and issuance of specialized equipment, materials and supplies in accordance with established policies and procedures. Provide support in microfiber cleaning/distribution process.

Work Performed

Support in the daily cleaning, inventorying, processing and pickup/delivery of microfiber at designated locations on Duke University campus.Utilization of EAM system including but not limited to creating,closing and tracking work orders.Provide data for reports and analyses of stock turnover, new merchandise received, shortage or overstock of merchandise and damaged goods.Monitor inventories; assist in the buying of cyclical inventory. Assist in the training of new employees; review the work of lower leveled personnel.Maintain outstanding order, purchase order and requisition files;conduct special and scheduled facility inventories.Coordinate and perform the handling of incoming and outgoing shipments,verification of new merchandise against purchase orders and invoices, and the transfer of merchandise according tor equisitions.

Transport material to designated points on campus.Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this classification. VIEW JOBS 11/13/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-11T00:00 The primary purpose of the Quality Assurance / Quality Control Manager is to represent the company's corporate commitment to brand consistency, by overview of product and installation techniques as dictated by corporate Quality Assurance Manual and procedures. Operate and promote the company's core values and lead by example. Principal Duties and Accountabilities: * Participate/work with managers to ensure goals and synergy of the group are maintained throughout the organization. * Conduct job site inspections to provide support by observing and report the quality of the installation, control measuring and compliance to the contract specifications as well as construction codes. This includes work of company employees and monitoring subcontractor work in the same way. * Perform system verification on completed systems to assure correct installation per design specifications. * Witness and document testing as well as any other recordkeeping for the department as needed. * Provide notifications to project team and corporate regarding findings, solutions, responsible party and deadlines for correction. * Ensure company standards are outlined in the quality control manual are effectively implemented. * Maintain lessons learned to share with all projects. * Assist in the implementation of a company quality control program, company standards, procedures, codes, contract documents, etc. required to perform assigned work. * Interact with project manager and teams daily and encourage the implementation of corporate quality control processes. * Work with staff to promote and ensure the successful transition from fabrication to manufacturing throughout the organizations. * Assist team in problem-solving as needed on the project. * Perform receipt inspections of material for work in conjunction with material control as required. Skills/Requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * 4 year degree in a related field plus two years experience in construction quality control OR 6 years in construction quality control for similar facilities such as construction installations on large, commercial buildings. * Ability to act as a specialist in quality control, keeping up with changes in the industry and updating staff as well as corporate for any necessary procedural updates. * HVAC and/or plumbing licenses for the area applying. * Quality Control training is required. * Working knowledge of construction codes for mechanical, electrical and plumbing. * Working knowledge of regulatory agency requirements as it pertains to quality control. * Ability to read and understand construction documents (contracts/subcontracts, purchase documents, plans and specifications.) * Proven ability to supervise, communicate and lead project personnel. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Attention to detail is required. * Construction claims experience is a plus.
