Material Confirmer - Box Line

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Material Confirmer - Box Line. The hours are 5:00am-3:00pm Monday through Friday. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. The hourly rate for this position is $17.00 - $21.25 per hour.

What you'll do:

In the Material Controller role, you will need to have the ability to read and comprehend parts drawings, M.I. routings, Bill of Ladings, travel documents, dock receipts, and related materials documentation. Specific knowledge of Sumter processes and procedures related to steel and bus fabrication, purchasing, receiving, shipping, and inventory control is desired. A broad range of knowledge in materials planning, scheduling, receiving, shipping, and tracking systems is preferred. You will need to have specific knowledge related to AS400, and the Order Management System (OMS). Experience in MAPICS and Dynamic Machine Management (DMM) is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills, persuasive skills, and analytical problem-solving skills with individuals and groups to facilitate process improvements within teams is a plus.

In this function:

• Select and prepare paperwork, commercial invoices, custom papers, shipping lists, instruction booklet,

• Utilizes AS400 and VISTA to ship/confirm product, in addition to sending advance shipment notices.

• Work on projects and special assignments as required.

• Support production line requirements as necessary.

Qualifications:

Basic (Required):

• High school diploma or GED required from an accredited institution

• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate are of Sumter county (50 Miles) will be considered for this position.

Preferred:

• Computer skills including knowledge of AS400, Vista, and DMM. Must be able to operate fork trucks, hand trucks, hand carts, hand tools, banding machine, scales, safety equipment, etc.

• Experience reading tape measures, blue prints, and calipers. Proficient in various production operations including breakers, tapping, notching, and general knowledge of the fabrication process
