The Master's Peer Mentor Program (MP2) is designed to connect new students with current Master's students to facilitate the transition to graduate life at Stevens Institute of Technology. Students who participate in this program will become better equipped to build more meaningful connections and benefit from essential peer-to-peer interaction in and out of the classroom experience. MP2 is not a substitute for clinical counseling, medical services, or academic advising. Peer mentors will be made aware of university resources and instructed to report concerns to the appropriate resources. Graduate Student Life acknowledges that the Peer Mentor is a student first and will work with the mentor to ensure their success. Peer Mentors are responsible for working alongside the Assistant Director to promote and demonstrate a genuine interest in the positive experience of graduate students with Graduate Student Life.
