Master Scheduler

Our client, a global manufacturing company here in the Grand Rapids area is looking for a Master Scheduler to join their team for a 3-4 month contract position This position will be in charge of managing production schedules throughout the entire plant based on customer demand. This will report to the Materials Manager and work along side an inventory control team.

Position will involve: Identifying process improvements within the supply chain Forecasting customer demand Forecasting/planning inventory & cash supply Developing master schedule for procurement & production plan Coordinating finished goods and Work in Progress locations Analyzing material shortages Preparing physical inventory counts and Audits and performing variance analysis Maintaining a focus on continuous improvement Must have: High school diploma, Bachelor's preferred. 5 years of experience in production materials/inventory management or production scheduling 3 years of Automotive manufacturing experience Similar titles encouraged to apply: Production Planner Production Scheduler Inventory Planner Materials Manager
