Job Summary:

The Master Scheduler has overall responsibility for the production plan and production schedules according to Customer and Sales needs. This position will maximize effectiveness in all aspects of the Production process. This position leads all efforts associated with balancing incoming sales orders with existing capacity and backlog, distribution of upcoming schedules to the team leads and supervisors, and coordination with our Production Team to ensure ideal coverage.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintains the master production plan according to demand requirements.

  • Facilitates the entry of incoming sales to Production Schedule based on capacity and inputs.

  • Ensure alignment between monthly SIOP plan and production schedules.

  • Liaison with sales leadership concerning pending order and operations readiness.

  • Manages daily and weekly production schedules revisions.

  • Ensures all available production slots are filled and utilized based on incoming orders and stock orders.

  • Reports to the Production Team regarding existing orders, challenges, and production forecasting.

  • Provides Leadership Team with weekly updates on back log and current lead times.

  • Reviews capacity constraints in order to achieve 100% on time on time delivery.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Directly supervises 2 Production Schedulers.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience with MS Office is required.

  • Experience in APS (Advanced Schedule and Planning) tool within SyteLine is preferred.

  • Strong Organizational insight and problem-solving ability.

  • Broad understanding of material flow and supply chain concepts as well as ERP systems

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. College is preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years in a Production or Manufacturing Environment, with a focus in Production Scheduling.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift-up to 15 pounds at times.

  • Must be able to traverse the production facility.
