Our Master Schedulers participate in meaningful projects that have an impact locally, nationally, and globally. You will be a true partner to our clients, dedicated to making each client a raving fan. As a CSpring Consultant, you will work with a team to develop state of the art solutions to business problems. You will interact with our clients and project teams, leverage your business and technical skills, discuss solutions with team members, and analyze client needs to develop important solutions.   • Create a combined Master Schedule from different sources and update it daily/weekly.

  • Ability to develop a work breakdown structure (WBS) and decompose work into manageable tasks.

  • Identify task and resource dependencies.

  • Communicate and report schedule issues, risks, or slippage.

  • Forecast what if scenarios or modeling of the schedule.

  • Assign, allocate, and level resources at the task level.


  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Knowledge and understanding of Agile methodology.

  • Prior Child Welfare experience is a plus.

VIEW JOBS 5/6/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-08-04T00:00 Job Description Summary JOB SUMMARY: The Sr. Manager will serve as a Master Scheduler for Project Management Office (PMO) contracts for large-scale systems. The Master Scheduler, along with the MAXIMUS Project Manager, will interface with IT resources, management teams and other business partners on a regular basis to maintain good client relations and resolve any issues. In addition, the Master Scheduler will be assist with developing required contract deliverables. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:• Be available to work on-site at a client location in Indianapolis, or other location within the State of Indiana five days a week during standard business hours • Helps to ensure stakeholders are effectively engaged and all project deliverables are completed within budget, scope, and schedule• Creates a combined Master Schedule from different sources and updates it daily/weekly• Develops a work breakdown structure (WBS) and decomposes work into manageable tasks• Identifies task and resource dependencies• Communicates and reports schedule issues, risks, or slippage• Forecasts "what if" scenarios or modeling of the schedule• Assigns, allocates, and levels resources at the task level• Develops and/or contributes to PMO project deliverables in accordance with the Project Work Plan• Notifies the MAXIMUS Project Manager verbally and in writing, when any problem(s) that may jeopardize the successful or timely completion of our contract obligations are discovered• Reviews artifacts and other project documents and/or schedules and attends interviews, focus groups, or other meetings necessary to gather information for project deliverables in accordance with the project scope of work• Attends project meetings with the client, subcontractors, project stakeholders, or other MAXIMUS Team members, as requested by the Project Manager• Completes project work in compliance with MAXIMUS standards and procedures• Performs other duties as assigned by leadershipEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university • A minimum of 5 years of experience with large scale system design and development projects• Experience with Agile methodology and practice (2+ years of experience is preferred)• Experience with federal and state government projects, preferably human services (child welfare systems experience highly desired)• Experience in: design and implementation of systems necessary to collect, maintain, and analyze data; • Strong interpersonal and team building skills, as well as an understanding of client relationship building are essential• Excellent verbal and writing skills and be comfortable working with customers• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills• Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast paced, deadline oriented work environment• Ability to execute many complex tasks simultaneously, and work as a team member as well as independently• Must have the flexibility to travel to support other projects or activities, if needed Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Support leadership in ensuring that the project is delivered to specifications, on time and within budget. - Develop initiative strategies for provider capacity building such as evaluating business models, creating training, recruitment, events participation, outreach approach, and support activities. - Work closely with management and work groups to create and maintain work plan documents. - Track the status and due dates of projects. - Manage relationships with project staff responsible for projects. - Produce regular weekly and monthly status reports, work plan status, target dates, budget, resource capacity and other, as well as, ad hoc reports as needed. - Collaborate with project managers on various initiatives and projects to track progress and provide support as necessary. - Create and maintain management plans and other deliverables. - Facilitate regular meetings and reviews. - Evaluate employee performance and recommend employees' needs and development opportunities to leadership. - Adhere to contract requirements and comply with all corporate policies and procedures. - Perform other duties as assigned by management. Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of experience consulting within designated function. - Advanced degree preferred. - Develop solutions to highly complex problems which require a high degree of ingenuity and innovation. - Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives. - Solutions may serve as precedent for future decisions. - Develop advanced concepts, techniques, and standards requiring a high level of interpersonal and technical skills. - Develop new applications based on professional principles and theories. - Viewed as expert in field within the organization.
