Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity to join North America Supply Chain as a Master Scheduler supporting our Crop Protection business based in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Master Scheduler is responsible for assigned products and/or manufacturing location(s) and all associated strategies and activities to most effectively deliver product supply in alignment with demand.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and collaborating with multiple businesses, functions, and geographies to ensure the execution of a reliable Supply Chain to meet customer expectations.

What You'll Do:

  • Translate demand requirements and supply capability into a capacity feasible monthly supply and inventory plan over the S&OP horizon (months 4 - 24), satisfying expected demand and targeting lowest business cost. Maintain supply plan in IBP and own documentation for system settings.

  • Analyze, monitor, and confirm the implementation of changes per plan for WD5-8, managing supply exceptions within the S&OP horizon, including prioritization and resolution.

  • Manages production plans within allocated AI and resource availability. Escalates issues to Global Portfolio Planning Manager, as necessary.

  • Facilitate communication and interaction with Commercial, Manufacturing and Sourcing functions to effectively balance supply and demand in the mid-term horizon via the IBP process.

  • Serve as a focal point for communication with Detailed Production Schedulers on asset plans outside of the 3- month horizon.

  • Communication with Export Partners and Demand Managers to facilitate issue resolution, meeting expected demand timing for longer term S&OP Horizon.

  • Maintain Rough Cut Capacity Plan for assets and participate in and/or lead annual Long Term Capacity Planning exercise.

  • Ensure inventory strategy is delivered, including monitoring and actions to maintain inventory health metric, ensuring execution plan is in place and delivered upon.

  • Track key performance metrics and leads root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.

  • Participation in Regional Supply Project forums to ensure production timelines meet the expected launch and modified supply chain timelines.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business

What Skills You'll Need:

  • 2-5 Years work experience and demonstrated capability in planning, leading by influence and organizational skills

  • Training / Certifications:

  • Highly Recommended:

  • Six Sigma Green Belt

  • APICS, Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM

  • Other recommendations:

  • Operations, scheduling, and planning experiences are preferred

  • Six Sigma Black Belt and/or certified Lean Practitioner preferred

  • SAP / APO / BW (or equivalent) training preferred

  • Manufacturing Experience preferred

  • Tool knowledge preferred: SAP / APO / IBP / S&OP

  • Excel (Advanced), Power BI and data management tools

  • Financial Acumen for assets and products

  • Understanding of Supply Chain Fundamentals

  • APICS CSCP knowledge or equivalent work experience/education
