Job Summary:
In the Master Production Scheduler role, you will partner with Production Leadership team, planner(s) and Purchasing team to create, maintain and update the production schedule.
What Will Your Job Look Like?
Analyzes WIP & Finished Goods inventories requirements on regular basis considering resource availability along with future forecast plans. Assure customer demand is met timely and accurately while maintaining compliance to set inventory goals.
Monitor material inventories, tracking progress of production and reviewing factors that affect schedules.
Utilize work center capacity to ensure the most optimal routings.
Partner with Engineering team to coordinate new product launches and/or developments; incorporate lead time into schedule. Work with purchasing team and planner(s) as needed.
Maintain system accuracy with job end dates to ensure the customer receives accurate dates for delivery. Including minimizing push backs on dates communicated to customers.
Communicates any possible line disruptions due to issues related to equipment availability or quality of parts to his/her supervisor.
Coordinate large orders or demand with planners and leadership teams.
Prepares periodic capacity analysis across all internal manufacturing processes, considering banks, planned interventions and launch/trial activities.
Participate in ERP Upgrade Project
Special projects and additional duties as assigned.
All You Need Is...
At least 3 years' experience in supply chain, materials management, production control, production scheduling
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent computer proficiency (MS office suite, ERP system, web-based tools)
Comfortable managing multiple tasks and competing priorities
Ability to exercise independent judgment.
Familiarity with capacity planning, both detail and rough cut
Even Better If You Have…
Understanding of basic manufacturing and mechanical engineering
Prior experience in a tooling component environment or aerospace industry
Familiarity with decoupling points
