23andMe is looking for an experienced Master Scheduler who will be responsible for the overall ERP system and process management as part of S&OP cycle. This person is expected to drive Supply process improvements and effective management of supply S&OP master data and documents, aggregating to an appropriately high level and determining what to present at the Executive S&OP meeting. The ideal candidate will own the overall responsibility for accuracy and achievability of the supply plan.
This person will represent the Supply Chain team on all ERP/MRP related activities and projects. You will own coordinating, monitoring and scheduling products through the complete production cycle. You will work closely with Planning and Procurement to ensure alignment and integration of the master schedule.

What you'll do
Establish and create an eighteen-month rolling forecast from the S&OP Plan and manage data into the ERP system.
Identify/maintain the appropriate planning parameters to optimize assembly production and raw material supply plans, ensures accuracy of the data across multiple areas.
Manage and review compliance for MRP load and execution while assuring credibility of the information contained in the schedule, verify schedule integrity.
Highlight and resolve any key supply constraints, capitalize on opportunities throughout the supply plan optimizing financial impact for 23andMe.
Conduct "what-if" analysis to determine the impact of various schedule/resource changes on the ability to successfully deliver individual projects.
Create schedule/resource load reporting for business as required.
Follow task completion in ERP system to track schedule updates.
Perform verifications and coordination of supplier forecasting data for Buyer/Planner.
Manage Item Master in ERP System, review for accuracy and completeness.
Review material shortages, stock outages, safety stock levels, and determine optimal planning parameters to support customer requirements while maximizing operational efficiency.
Adhere to company policies and Corporate Business Controls requirements.
Assist in the development of recommended recovery measures for projects behind schedule.
What you'll bring
Thorough understanding of MRP and MRP systems.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5+ years of experience in demand/production planning, preferably with a medical device company.
Knowledge of MRP functionality including and not limited to: action messages, netting functionality, pegging, and dependent demand
Senior level of experience with ERP systems and MS Office products. Strong skill set in Excel is a must.
Demonstrated attention to detail, precision and thoroughness.
Working knowledge and experience of quality management systems in an ISO 13485 or GMP environment .
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with success in working across organizations at all levels.
Self-starter with high tolerance for ambiguity.
Flexible with the capability to work in a dynamic environment.
Motivated to work independently with minimum supervision to gather schedule inputs required to create and maintain schedules, but still understand the importance of being a contributing team member.
Becomes familiar with and reviews item forecast versus actual demand patterns, making appropriate adjustments to maintain inventory levels.
PMI Scheduling and or Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) Certification.
APICS certification a plus.
