The Master Planning Coordinator contributes to all phases of Facility Master Planning for public school districts. Strong candidates will demonstrate a range of design and quantitative skills, as well as the ability to communicate findings through concise and visually appealing deliverables. Educational experience is a plus, but professionals with relevant experience from other sectors are encouraged to apply. Facility Master Planning is an active and growing practice area within PBK with advancement opportunities.
Your Impact:
Coordinate the preparation of Long-Range Facilities Master Plan deliverables with internal team members, consultants, and client representatives.
Manage Facilities Assessments teams
Assemble Long-Range Facilities Master Plans, Educational Specifications, and Technical Design Guidelines in InDesign.
Compile data for Capacity Studies and Facility Assessments in Excel and database software.
Here's What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in architecture, design, planning or demonstrated practical experience
OR Bachelor's degree in unrelated field with minimum 2 years practice experience in architecture, design, planning, and/or education
Working proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
Working proficiency in using databases (Smartsheet) required
Working proficiency in one of the following preferred: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Desire to work in a fast paced, challenging and client focused environment.
The actual offered base salary for California locations will vary depending on factors such as individual qualifications, education, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, work location, and internal equity. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role will be at or near the top half of the range provided, but the decision will be dependent on the factors of each individual case. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation in the form of discretionary bonuses in addition to base salary and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits. The salary range for this position is below.
$59,977.00 - $89,966.00
