Summary Position Summary Under the direction of the Facility Supervisor, the Master Electrician is responsible to carry out the hospitals regular Preventive Maintenance Program (electrical); by installing, repairing, replacing, and maintaining all fixed and portable electrical equipment, including utilities and specialized medical electronic equipment used for the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patients. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education:
High school or trade school diploma with courses in blueprint reading, electricity, mathematics, and physics preferred. License/Certifications: State of Maine licensure as Master Electrician required.
Valid Maine driver's license required. Experience: A four-year electrician's apprenticeship or equivalent on-the-job training, which should be in the electrical-electronic fields.
