JOB SUMMARY:

The Master Data Specialist will assist in data management, governance and data quality of master data requirements with other functional data owners. This position will build, enhance, and roll out protocols to all stakeholders across the company. He/she will partner with the Product team to ensure data is inputted across all systems correctly.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures that processes currently in place are followed accurately and consistently across all systems (ERP, PLM, etc.).

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining BOMs (Bill of Materials), Articles and images in the PLM system.

  • Serves as Super User for the PLM System's processes, data, reports and troubleshoots issues related to system data.

  • Works closely with the PLM System Support team to troubleshoot issues.

  • Ensures data flows correctly between the ERP and the PLM systems daily. Ensures that over fifty (50) data points in the PLM system are mapped correctly to the ERP system, creates new fields in the PLM & ERP systems as needed.

  • Ensures attributes within the PLM system are mapped correctly to each other.

  • Manages, maintains, and validates data daily or as needed.

  • Creates, maintains, and audits data in the PLM system related but not restricted to Purchasing information, product groups and pricing. Ensures attribute updates are performed in the ERP system as well.

  • Protects data integrity of products by adhering to system and procedural protocols.

  • Partners with the Development/Design teams to ensure images and product descriptions are provided in a timely manner.

  • Partners with Enterprise Data Manager to ensure quarterly catalog data is handed off in a timely manner to the B2B Administrator.

  • Works with the Enterprise Data Manager and Master Data Analyst to track and report on total items created and dropped each quarter. Ensures dropped styles are made inactive in the PLM and ERP systems. Ensures drops are communicated to all appropriate teams (Customer Service, Production, Purchasing, Demand Planning, B2B Administrator).

  • Partners with the Enterprise Data Manager and the Master Data Analyst to analyze data and perform routine attribute audits across both databases.

  • Partners with the Enterprise Data Manager to prioritize time sensitive project launches.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent years of experience.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Awareness of NetSuite ERP technologies.

  • Ability to work closely and collaboratively with project managers and feed into the overall delivery plans.

  • A keen attention to detail, must be able to analyze many pieces of data on a daily basis.

  • Computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Previous experience in the apparel industry a plus but not required.

$55,000 - $68,000 a year
