KTVL in Medford, OR has a great opportunity for you! We are seeking a full-time Master Control Coordinator.

Applicant must be versatile and capable of learning specialized software applications and have an aptitude for operating electronic equipment. Must have great attention to detail, excellent computer skills, and must be able to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as the primary interface between the Master Control Hub and local station to ensure seamless connection of the Master Control function

  • Establish acceptable technical and operational quality of the station's programming and breaks

  • Partner with the News, Traffic, Programming, Promotions, and Sales departments to resolve any issues that impact Master Control Operations

  • Maintain required logs, and uphold station standards and FCC compliance by monitoring the station's technical performance

  • Coordinate delivery of commercials, promotions, and other local content from the local station to the Hub

  • Act as back up for functions requiring separation of duties, including Cross-Check, Copy Coordinator, and Log Recon, as necessary

  • Other responsibilities as assigned


  • At least 2 experience in television Master Control operations preferred

  • Capable of transferring files of various types to our broadcast format

  • Dependable and detail oriented

  • Communicate effectively and work well with others

  • Be able to follow instructions with minimal supervision

  • Experience or knowledge of OSi traffic system software preferred

  • Knowledge of computers and an aptitude for operating electronic equipment is preferred
