Clinician MA: Adult Day Treatment

Eliot Community Human Services, Adult Day Treatment Program is seeking a temporary Masters Level Clinician to support individiuals that are facing the challenges of mental illness

Responsibilities:

  • Lead or co-leads groups daily and complete required documentation.

  • Meet productivity standard and contract requirements.

  • Provide case management services including a minimum of weekly meetings with each consumer and collaboration with other agencies to coordinate services.

  • Develop and implement goal oriented treatment plans in accordance with payor requirements and standards, sound clinical practice and in collaboration with the consumer.

  • Provide crisis intervention services during the regular hours of the program and work with Emergency Services to coordinate services afterhours.

  • Provide individual and group therapy and/or short-term therapy evaluations.

  • Participate in meetings for clinical, educational, case management or discharge planning as requested.

  • Submit all administrative and billing paperwork within the appropriate time frames.

Schedule: Monday- Friday 9am-5pm

Requirements

Requires a Master's degree in counseling psychology, social work or mental health counseling, plus two years of experience, one year of which must be in a multidisciplinary mental health setting. Must meet Day Treatment Medicaid requirements for reimbursement. Computer literacy and skill in the use of computers and related software applications. Ability to consistently meet all necessary background and credentialing requirements.

VIEW JOBS 11/15/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-02-13T00:00 Eliot's Community Crisis Stabilization provides assessment and treatment delivering short term 24 hour treatment for adults in a structured and supportive environment. CCS provides person-centered stabilization and support of individuals in psychiatric distress in the least restrictive environment. Access to the CCS Program is provided through Eliot's Emergency Psychiatric Services. Eliot is seeking a clinician with excellent diagnostic skills; competence in crisis intervention and engagement strategies. the ideal individual will be able to quickly establish rapport with wide range of clinical presentations. Having knowledge of the vast array of community resources and how to access them and a plus. Responsibilities: * Provide daily individual and group therapy, collateral and family consultations, case management and consultation to nursing and psychiatric staff. * Develop and implement goal oriented treatment plans for all clients in the program, within 24 hours of admission. * Conduct concurrent reviews with insurers as needed to obtain authorization for services. * Document all clinical and collateral contacts as well as case management activities in the medical record on the day of service provision. * Complete activity logs daily for all services provided and submit same to supervisor. * Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds and lead the clinical presentation.
