The Spa at The Cliffs is continuously growing and expanding! We are seeking a gracious, skilled, and motivated part-time Massage Therapist who can create a sense of luxury with their treatments. We look forward to connecting with you!

Position Summary:

The Massage Therapist is responsible for creating a rejuvenating and luxurious environment in The Spa by performing massages on clients; with the goal of improving circulation, promoting relaxation, and relieving stress. In addition, the Massage Therapist must be well versed in appropriate draping, verbiage, and professionalism in the treatment room, guided by The Cliffs' Mission & Values. This position is also responsible for upholding California State Board Standards and overall cleanliness of treatment rooms and common areas. Massage Therapist position works closely with Spa Attendants, Spa Reservationists, Spa Leads, and Spa Manager.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand continuously for the duration of the shift (4-8 hours)

• Ability to perform 3+ massages back-to-back

• Ability to repeat the same movements often

• Ability to use muscles for extended periods without getting tired

• Ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls

Education, Experience, Skills:

• CA Massage Therapist Certification

• Must be willing to comply with Pismo Beach Police Department permit ordinance by date of hire

• Responsible Beverage Service trained, and ABC exam certified

• Ability to provide a high level of customer service

• Ability to work weekends and holidays when necessary

• Ability to be sales oriented and able to communicate information regarding product and services to guest

• Maintain a friendly, outgoing attitude throughout all shifts

• Must be able to communicate and work effectively with co-workers in all departments

• Hospitality experience is preferred

• Luxury Spa experience is preferred
