This position supports patients with clinical needs for medical massage therapy. LMTs work closely with the entire LM & WC team within the interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Job Essentials Provides massage therapy to patients as required by the plan of care.

Maintains and cleans massage therapy equipment as needed. Ensures proper patient charting, accurately recording massage therapy treatment, response to treatment, etc. Maintains knowledge of trends and regulations affecting the provision of massage therapy.

Provides education as to the importance, benefits and contraindications of massage. Participates in program development, establishment of new procedures, etc. as needed to improve patient care. Communicates treatments and assessment findings to the evaluating physical/occupational therapist.

Posting Specifics Pay: Dependent on experience Department: Park City LiVe Well Center, Park City Hospital.

Schedule: PRN, as needed during the day Monday - Friday Preferred Experience: LMT and minimum 3years cranial sacral education and experience. Minimum Qualifications Current license as a Massage Therapist in the State of practice.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers. Preferred Qualifications Highly Preferred Experience: LMT and minimum 3years cranial sacral education and experience.

National massage therapy certification. Massage therapy experience. Hospital and/or physical therapy experience.
