NEW LOCATION COMING TO LODI IN MARCH!! WE NEED AWESOME THERAPISTS! As a massage therapist at this Massage Envy franchised location,* essential duties include performing professional quality massage within scope of practice and licensing (as applicable) and in alignment with policies and protocols, utilizing approved modalities, in accordance with applicable law in your franchised location, designing specific sessions based on member's/guest's individual needs, and upholding the Massage Envy brand's core values of optimism, gratitude, excellence, consistency and empathy.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Perform professional quality massage, within scope of practice and licensing (as applicable).

  • Must follow all Massage Envy policies and protocols.

  • Assists in the cleanliness of the location (therapy rooms and common areas).

  • Utilizes Massage Envy approved modalities, in accordance with applicable law in your location.

  • If performing hot stone, deep muscle or prenatal therapy, must have appropriate training and satisfy the minimum clinic education hours.

  • Maintain professional appearance at all times.

  • Design specific sessions based on member's/guest's individual needs.

  • Assists in the promotion of the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy on a regular basis; communicates various promotions to clients.

  • Creates excellent member/guest experience through friendly and helpful attitude.

  • Reliable, on time attendance. Attends all scheduled shifts, is prompt to work and works entire scheduled shift.

  • Completes Wellness Chart documentation accurately and completely.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What it Takes to Succeed

Education, Skills and Training:

  • Minimum of 500 hours of massage therapy school and a certificate of completion.

  • Participates in continuing education to improve effectiveness (preferred).

  • Satisfactory results of background and reference check is a condition of employment in this position.

  • Must adhere to all applicable local and state licensing laws and regulations related to the massage therapy services provided, including following any applicable law pertaining to maintaining current Massage License.

  • Knowledge of and experience in performing Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage required, as well as knowledge of and experience in performing other modalities offered by Massage Envy.

  • Understands and believes in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.

Communications and Personal Interactions:

  • Have a strong customer service orientation.

  • Possess the ability to communicate effectively (orally and written) and in a courteous and professional manner on a regular basis with members, guests, co-workers and management.

  • Maintain client confidentiality.

I. Job Summary: This position is responsible for managing the customer relationships within a franchise agreement, both at the municipal government level and the franchised customer level. The Franchise Territory Manager is responsible for managing business relationships to achieve contract objectives and sales goals by developing and implementing sound account growth and retention strategies, utilizing strong negotiation efforts to expand business, and adhering to the franchise contract specifications and goals. The Franchise Territory Manager will handle all customer requests for service changes, contract administration and related questions during face-to-face interactions. All escalations for customer service issues within the defined territory will be resolved through this position. This is a field based position. This position is eligible to participate in market area compensation plans and recognition programs upon successful completion of sales orientation and/or training programs. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned * Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. This includes meeting customer and franchise contract goals. Communicate to and work with the Area Sales Manager to resolve unique customer issues or concerns. * Develop and promote a customer education plan to promote recycling and waste minimization programs. * Match Waste Management services with customer needs by demonstrating knowledge of customers' current service levels and the goals of the franchise contract; proactively engage other Waste Management business opportunities, referring internally as appropriate. * Effectively use Waste Management sales productivity software tools (i.e. Record Setter, Proposal Master, MAS, Pricing Tools, etc.). * Acquire in depth industry and company knowledge in order to prepare complex proposals and make recommendations on equipment optimization and leasing options. * Propose customer solutions that are compliant with appropriate local, state and federal regulations. * Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with the key contacts within the Franchise municipality, including staff, elected officials, local environmental advisory boards, business advisory boards, etc. * Other duties as assigned III. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory duties. IV. Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job: A.
