Massage Therapist (Direct Hire)

Remedy is so excited to partner with a prestigious salon/spa in the Williamsvillle, NY area as they ramp up their search for full-time Massage Therapists! YES, even during COVID, they are urgently in need of 4 talented Massage Therapists to join their team! Here are some key details:

Pay: Commission based structure, with commission % dependent upon experience (usually 40-46%)

Hours: Schedules can be flexible but you should expect to work at least 2 weeknights and one weekend day as part of the full-time schedule

Essential duties for this Massage Therapist will include:

• Welcome guests to the salon and spa in a timely manner and make sure they are comfortable.
• Accurate guest intake to ensure appropriate massage service is received
• Provide guest with knowledge of all massage services offered and additional service offerings.
• Assist guests in preparing for their services
• Perform massage services according to guests requests and needs
• Educate guests on retail recommendations
• Increase guest retention by building relationships and pre-booking
• Maintain an exceptionally clean and sanitized massage room at all times

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• HS Diploma required along with Licensed Massage Technician (LMT) certification
• 1-2 years of prior experience in a professional salon
• Strong professional presentation, impeccable customer service skills and outstanding communication skills
• Proficiency in Myofacial Release, Stone Therapy and Pregnancy Massage a HUGE plus!
