Citadel Masonry Area Superintendents are responsible for the supervision of field related masonry construction activities such as; coordinating subcontractor work in all areas, enforcing safety regulations, maintaining field logs and reports, ensuring the project meets the highest possible standards upon completion as well as strengthening relationships by ensuring the highest customer satisfaction.

This position requires travel between North and South Carolina.

In order to be qualified for employment at Monteith, Grey Interiors, or Citadel, final candidates must comply with the vaccination requirement.

Responsibilities include:

Ensuring that all projects are performed in accordance with contract and quality standards
Scheduling and directing the daily activities of work and assuring that the project objectives of cleanliness, safety, price, schedule, and quality are met
Maintaining daily paperwork; timecards, field reports, and E-mail correspondence
Promoting and maintaining safety, health, and cleanliness on the jobsite
Attending pre-construction, progress and other project meetings
Participating in training and other forms of continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

Previous construction experience, particularly masonry, preferred
Ability to read drawings and understand masonry details
Strong leadership qualities
Deadline and detail-oriented
Strong communication skills
Highly organized to maximize productivity
Ownership and drive, someone who gets it done without needing much oversight
Humility and a willingness to learn

The Superintendent manages the construction of multiple homes from permit to closing by scheduling and supervising job site subcontractors, homeowner walk-throughs, and inspections while maintaining company construction and safety standards.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
