The Kaiser Krew lives by a commitment to MOVE AS ONE...WIN TOGETHER - If you are looking for a challenge at an elite company that has a family atmosphere - we invite you to learn what Kaiser Transport is all about...

To start - we have the best equipment on the road. Our trucks are outfitted with all the tools that you need to accomplish your job with true professional results. It is our choice to set you up to succeed - it is your choice to join us and deliver on high expectations. All of Kaiser's support departments (Dispatch, Driver Services, Fleet, Accounting, HR, Safety and Compliance, IT, Yard, Sales and Marketing) are dedicated in supporting all of our drivers and committed to their financial success. If you choose to win and be part of an Old School-Close Knit Family, we invite you to start your journey with us.

Here is what you'd be signing up for...

We haul large freight that you'll be loading, tarping and securing LTL style, so it isn't easy. However, you will not wait for loads. Your fuel card will stay on because we are financially stable. You will have to use your brain; dry van dock bumpers need not apply.

  • CDL A holder

  • 1-2 years of long haul, coast-to-coast experience

  • Experience with step deck, double drop, or flatbed freight

  • Experience building and executing successful trip plans

  • Tarping and freight securement experience in all weather conditions

  • Meet all the federal motor carrier's guidelines with no OWI's in the past 5 years

Do you have strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills? Can you communicate effectively in English? Do you have a strong work ethic? Are you reliable? If so, you may be perfect!

If you're ready for a challenge, have an old-school mind set and have the qualifications above, please keep reading. If not, thank you for checking out our ad, we wish you the best.

Still with us? Great! Here is the nitty gritty...

  • A competitive pay range of $78,000-$110,000/year

  • Our Driver Core is currently averaging $.68 - $.70 cpm

  • Late model Peterbilt 389 long nose tractors

  • Cummins ISX15 525 horsepower engines

  • 18 speed manual transmission

  • APU's & refrigerators in every truck

  • If that's not enough...when we order new trucks, our drivers pick the color they want!

Our open deck trailer space sharing business model creates exciting challenges because we don't haul easy freight. This model can make your job feel like "organized chaos". We're looking for drivers that enjoy this challenge as much as they enjoy being on the road. You will coordinate customer deliveries and ensure that the freight arrives safely and on time. You will be able to schedule your own home time.

Before you start driving, you will train with our professionals to learn how we secure and tarp freight the Kaiser way. Orientation at our Wisconsin terminal takes about two weeks, we make sure you are 100% ready to hit the road before we release you for dispatch. Don't worry, we will take care of all your travel expenses and pay you during orientation.

We only specialize in TSS (Trailer-Space-Sharing) long haul, open deck trucking. We are proficient in hauling machines, large tools and equipment along with other double-drop, step-deck, and flatbed freight. Our trucks operate from coast-to-coast and Canada.

As a family-owned company, we promote a family atmosphere that creates a true connection between drivers, dispatchers, yard crew, mechanics, and support staff. We are 100% committed to safety which is why our Fleet Department performs all preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment, not Drivers.
