As part of this team, you'll play a key role in helping Accenture execute its strategy. You'll work with a diverse team of innovative marketing experts who focus on the following areas: global brand management and advertising; global events and sponsorships; internal communications; marketing research; media and industry analyst relations; corporate and financial communications; internet marketing; recruitment marketing; client-centric marketing; and industry, service line and geographic marketing campaigns.

Your Mission: Be the face of the POD CHI business, and the strategic mind behind partnership, sales & growth for your region.

Eyes always on the horizon, you will mount a relentless pursuit of expanding the POD portfolio in-region, extending our reach within Accenture, and aligning our priorities to those of the regional business. You shall develop and oversee execution of new sales strategies, offerings, and experiences in the Midwest. Ultimately, you are the main escalation point for all POD CHI engagements.

Your Accountability: First and foremost, hitting the POD CHI FY20 sales target of $2.4M.

Within that, you are accountable for the development of POD CHI as a business, and all of its people. Accountability also includes sharing and collaborating with your fellow regional client-experience managers, in the interest of growing the POD as a whole.

Job Summary: The Global Marketing Director (GMD) is the product launch lead for all of Point of Care's products. This person is responsible for setting the strategy and creating and executing tactical plans for products to ensure their successful global launch. This includes understanding how to differentiate products among competitors, creating compelling positioning statements, messages, value propositions. They will also guide pricing, forecasting, and reimbursement options. This individual will lead the marketing activities for the team and drive product launches. Strong leadership and collaboration skills are needed for cross departmental interactions with R&D, market access, regional marketing directors, and sales. This "product champion" is the focal point for the division regarding product and market knowledge, planning/execution, and achievement of global business objectives. The GMD is responsible for the product from identification of customer and market needs/wants, to concept, product development and global product launch. The GMD is responsible for assisting in the following activities for their product(s): * Drive leadership of global product launch strategy and activities * Provide leadership for direct reports, in core teams, and cross functionally across all departments that interact with GSM to ensure successful product launch. * Support the global commercial organizations in achieving Plan objectives * Provide direction and input to all in-house groups such as Public Affairs, Operations, Finance, R&D, Quality, PMO, and Regulatory that affect the successful achievement of business objectives. Main Responsibilities: * Strong project management skills, with proven ability to clearly define objectives and priorities, establish milestones, lead global cross-functional teams to meet and exceed goals in a dynamic environment, while maintaining strong attention to detail. * Competition and Positioning: Thoroughly understand competitive offerings and provide commercial organizations with appropriate positioning and tools to differentiate product(s) versus the competition. * Scientific and Promotional Tool Creation: Provide core promotional materials, literature, sales aids, and support materials to help them exceed their sales plan. * Oversee development of global market forecast * Manage team of product managers, train on marketing best practices, bring cohesion to the group and oversee product launches. * Develop the Marketing Plan: Incorporate all aspects of the marketing mix. * Utilize market research, customer input, Area input, and other means to ensure profitable and differentiated products are delivered to market. * Internal Communication: Responsible for creating a clear line of communication between Global Marketing and all other areas that affect the product.This includes providing direction to the Commercial Areas/countries and all in-house groups. * External Communication: Interface with consultants, marketing research firms, ad agencies, other vendors, and customers to effectively manage and grow business profitably, while maintaining a customer focus woven throughout all activities. * Gain positive media exposure in partnership with the Public Affairs department. * Ensure Launch and Post-Launch Success: Offer leadership to international commercial organizations and on-market teams through successful launch. * This includes delivering appropriate launch materials/tools to differentiate product versus the competition and grow the business in a profitable manner. * The following are some of the key responsibilities: Business Expansion, Participate in strategic planning initiatives such as PMP (Portfolio Management Process) and LRP (Long Rang Plan) to ensure profitable growth opportunities are supported.
