Job Description

The Development Department's Digital Strategy & Marketing team is seeking a passionate, strategic, creative, highly motivated Development Coordinator to join its team. The Digital Strategy & Marketing team takes the fundraising and marketing goals of the Office of Development and creates a revenue-driving, multi-channel program that includes all digital platforms and outlets. Donations go to pioneering research and patient care at MSK and are vital to creating new and better treatments for cancer patients worldwide.

You Will:

  • Collaborate on the development of fundraising and engagement programs with an emphasis on digital channels (email, website, paid search, SEO display and social) that build, maintain, and evolve a first-in-class and integrated donor experience and generate revenue for cancer research and patient care

  • Help lead the execution of fundraising programs from start to finish, driving collaboration with various stakeholders while leveraging and improving internal processes and improving return on investment

  • Work with team to evaluate the impact of marketing programs in achieving revenue and engagement objectives and provide reporting as needed

  • Support team with vendor and partner relationship management

  • Assist with the development and production of website content

  • Assist with donor outreach and customer service

You Have:

  • A Bachelor's degree and minimum 3 years in marketing with an intimate understanding of traditional and emerging channels

  • Fundraising and development experience with strong desire to raise funds for cancer research

  • Data-driven acumen with a keen interest and developing skillset in marketing analytics

  • A solid knowledge of website analytic tools

  • Superior project management skills, with the determination and ability to drive a project from concept to launch

  • The ability to think creatively and innovatively

  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

  • A detailed eye and interest in perfecting copy, ensuring high quality, and maintaining brand integrity

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite #LI-SB1

Manage RFP’s/RFI’s coordinating with Finance, HR, IT and other departments as required.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Conduct research on existing and prospective clients, competitor activity, and industry or market trends to aid in the development of marketing plans, presentations and proposals.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Prepare, review and revise directory and award submissions, working with partners directly to submit responses in a timely fashion, and prepare analysis of results regarding same.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Collect and maintain representative matters, deals lists, client and industry lists for use in marketing materials.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Oversee regular updates of web and print marketing content for a variety of practice groups, including attorney biographies, practice area/office descriptions, webpage, and related news items. Draft, review and edit brochures and other collateral for general marketing purposes and oversee collateral inventory.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Liaise with PR and Communication Managers on practice-related press releases, awards submissions, and other external communications ensuring visibility of the practice and related lawyers in the relevant markets. Work with PR on the announcement of new laterals and partner promotions, deal closures and other significant achievements, and assist in implementing practice group PR goals and objectives.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Manage client events and sponsorships, including: coordination of speakers/agenda, budget tracking, drafting/mailing invitations and invitation lists, tracking client attendance, internal/external advertising, measuring ROI and ensuring participant follow up.
