Marketing Web Developer

Job Description:

The Opportunity:

The Web Developer plays a key role in enhancing our digital platforms (Next.js, Marketo, API-first tools) for greater flexibility and scalability. It includes collaborating with the marketing team to ensure digital assets align with brand messaging, utilizing our headless CMS for a content-driven approach. Additionally, the responsibilities will include integrations of technology platforms, optimizing web properties for performance, accessibility, and user experience with the latest web technologies in an agile environment.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Optimize our digital properties (Next.js, Marketo, API first tooling) for flexibility and scalability.

• Work with the marketing team to align digital assets with brand messaging, leveraging our headless CMS for a content-first approach.

• Support smooth transitions and integrations of technology platforms.

• Ensure all web properties are optimized for performance, accessibility, and experience by using the latest web technologies and strategies.

• Use analytics to analyze user behavior and optimize the user experience, focusing on data-driven decisions to improve web KPIs.

• Continuously improve web development processes and adopt modern tools to enhance efficiency and innovation.

Required skills and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Development/Communications/Design field preferred

• 3-5 years minimum experience in web development

• Strong technical experience (experience with Typescript, React, HTML and CSS)

• Familiarity or first-hand experience with marketing platforms preferred (Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Heap)

• Self-starter; ability to naturally take ownership, look for opportunities, and do what is needed to drive results

• Strong analytical and innovative thinking

• Highly collaborative with a positive attitude a must

• Process oriented with high attention to detail

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming

• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility

• Experience with version control systems such as Git

• Knowledge of software stack security requirements and frameworks

• Ability to define and review project scope & estimate timelines
