Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $70,700.00 - $106,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

The Marketing Supervisor develops strategy and coordinates execution at assigned location. This position will work closely with Senior Marketing Manager to ensure development of marketing strategies that serve both location and client needs. Works in alignment with field sales, and auction leadership to ensure that marketing efforts align with and support the broader strategy and local needs.

What You'll Do

  • Functions as a member of the location's marketing team, providing guidance and expertise related to all aspects of marketing

  • Manages, mentors and develops at least two direct reports to align with the future vision of marketing Works in partnership with Sr. Manager, Marketing to develop overall strategy for marketing that align to both corporate and location objectives and goals

  • Reports results and ROI of weekly marketing efforts to auction leadership and Senior Field Marketing Manager

  • Partners with corporate design team to coordinate creative needs for auction campaigns

  • Partners with finance counterparts to develop and effectively manage marketing budget and other financial expenditures

  • Coordinates and facilitates in‐lane and digital promotions for commercial and dealer accounts

  • Visibly demonstrates safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Works in cooperation with safety leadership in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence

  • Effectively leads the team at the location by setting an example in behavior, championing Cox/Manheim values and ensuring that all employees are treated with respect

  • Mentors and develops marketing team to align with the future vision of the marketing department

  • Enforces all company policies and procedures related to employee and client conduct

  • Travels, as needed to corporate for meetings and additional auctions for cross marketing efforts

  • Performs other duties as assigned by auction leadership and corporate marketing

Who You Are

Minimum

  • High school Diploma/GED and 5 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 3 years' experience in a related field; a master's degree and 1 year of experience; or a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience.

  • Leadership training or experience

  • 2-3 years of marketing experience

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

  • Effective organizational skills

  • Knowledge of MS Office products and layout/design software (i.e. Adobe)

  • Ability to work in a high performance, fast‐paced team environment

  • Ability to work under pressure with time constraints

  • Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing work environment

Preferred

  • Previous experience in the auto industry preferred

Drug Testing

To be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position.
