Wente Vineyards is seeking a summer Marketing Intern to support the Brand and Direct to Consumer teams. Reporting to the Associate Brand Manager, the Marketing Intern will be responsible for planning and developing out content for 2019-2020 year. The Marketing Intern will be responsible for creating and curating content to support a new company initiative while building out communication plans across the following platforms: social media, website, email, etc. We are seeking a candidate with a can-do spirit, who is open to working on projects from social media, events and tasks supporting the Marketing team.

The Marketing Intern will gain many skills during their time with the team. Some of the responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Planning strategic content marketing plans in support of a company-wide initiative

  • Copywriting to align content to brand messaging, within brand voice and guidelines

  • Capturing video and photos to align with content marketing plan

  • Support in the planning and execution of various events on-property

  • Delivery of content across digital channels

  • Analyzing and reporting data projects for Direct to Consumer team

  • Assisting Marketing team with various tasks and projects

Key Requirements

  • Current Marketing, Creative/Design, Communication or Business Administration student

  • Interest in Marketing, Advertising or Creative Design

  • Strong writing skills

  • Ability to take video & photos using DSLR camera and iPhone, edit for channel usage.

  • Attention to detail and positive attitude

  • Ability to lift 40lbs
