  • This is an exempt position in Salary Grade P: Min $81,244.80 - Mid $96,491.20 - Max $111,716.80 annually.

    Has the technical skills, product knowledge and professional skills to do the job. Innovates and delivers compelling marketing campaigns, advertising programs, and promotions finely tuned to align with our strategic vision. Develops, executes, and evaluates these efforts, ensuring objectives are met and exceeded.

    Harnesses creativity to craft impactful promotional strategies aimed at boosting adoption of alternative transportation modes. Responsible for spreading awareness and making a difference in the way people travel. Develops requisitions, writes scopes of work, and evaluates proposals for marketing contracts; represents marketing in contract negotiations for procurement of goods and services; develops and implements strategic advertising plans in conjunction with various media vendors.

    Writes and edits reports, proposals, and public information collateral copy as required according to standard Associate Press/United Press International style and Chicago Press standards. Presents marketing and transportation demand management (TDM) programs with eloquence and effectiveness; conveys the vision of the authority and inspires others. Takes Initiative:

    Initiates new programs, processes, relationships, or technologies to accomplish goals. Reads, evaluates, and recommends appropriate action regarding proposals based on both qualitative and quantitative research. Compiles summary of results and action plan.

    Drives for Results: Operates with speed and intensity, translates long-term goals into immediate actions. Takes the lead in steering the collaboration between external consultants and internal creative team, ensuring the delivery of effective and captivating marketing campaigns that make an impact on time.

    Develops and monitors program budget and crafts reports for management review. Dives deep into market trends, translating raw data into meaningful insights. Leverages these insights to develop strategic plans aimed at capturing the attention of the target audience.

    Works in a Collaborative Manner with Others: Works in a collaborative manner with others, helps resolve unproductive conflict. Interfaces and collaborates with cross-functional personnel and external customers and vendors.

  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in public transportation, marketing, communications, public relations, business administration or a related field with a minimum of five years of related professional experience which demonstrates marketing and project management capabilities.
