Marketing Specialist

We have an exciting part time position providing marketing support for the Trauma Center for both online and offline marketing vehicles. This vital role will require strong marketing, writing, and computer skills.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • collaborating with the Trauma Center staff in developing online marketing vehicles that use consistent branding
  • the use of social media to identify resources and current information for regular posts on the Trauma Center and MassMen Facebook pages
  • ability to create site maps, write content using keywords, and update the Riverside Trauma Center and MassMen websites using Wordpress
  • develop and implement a strategic plan for publishing a regular newsletter
  • create informational emails to inform audience of trainings, annual conference, and other news
  • assist with event planning, such as an annual conference and periodic training events

Schedule: 20 hours per week; Monday mornings are required to attend team meeting however, the remaining hours are flexible with potential for some remote work hours

Required Skills

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required

  • Must have the ability to learn new software and online tools, including Eventbrite, Constant Contact, Wordpress, and software to create an HTML email

  • Driver's license and regular access to reliable transportation required

Required Experience

  • At least three years experience in marketing that includes strategic and implementation capabilities required

  • Excellent writing and editing skills required

  • Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of social media tools, PowerPoint, Excel, InDesign, and Photoshop, required
