Marketing Specialist - Marketing Analysis & Direct Response
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead & Market Analysis: Provide analytical support (research and data analysis) for key marketing and sales initiatives: Maintain market data (demographics, geographic boundaries, etc.) by market.
Direct Response Programs: Manage and execute the annual calendar for direct mail and email direct response programs for customer cross-sell and noncustomer solicitations. Compile weekly program results. Review and analyze program results and report findings.
Direct Marketing Trends & Competitor Programs: Remain up to date on all direct response trends and competitor activities to keep programs fresh and relevant.
Referral Program: Oversee the fulfillment of Massey's Pass it On referral program.
Image: Ensure all communication through adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and accuracy and are consistent with Massey's culture, philosophy and mission.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Lead and Market Analysis
Conduct in-depth market analysis to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing and sales programs.
Coordinate research efforts designed to keep the company in touch with customer wants, needs, levels of satisfaction and analyze research results.
Track leads, closure, creative and lead conversions by DMA & Service Center each month to identify where market challenges.
Work closely with the Business Analysis team to ensure up-to-date territory boundaries, market information, Service Center information (addresses and telephone numbers) and Service Center Changes.
Ensure all market and Service Center information is relevant and accurate on digital (website) and marketing material.
Complete competitive analysis and provide information to Marketing team on a monthly basis.
Direct Response Programs
Work with Marketing Managers who oversee residential service lines to ensure strategy and timing are in line.
Manage the timely execution of the established direct mail calendar (managers will develop program overview and objectives, timeline and strategy).
Manage the production and execution of timelines for cross sell and noncustomer direct mail and email initiatives.
Assist with management of direct mail houses in the development of direct marketing programs to ensure they meet pre-set objectives, strategies, established timelines and budgets.
Referral Program
Work closely with Operations Administration on the fulfillment of the Pass it On Referral program.
Monitor inventory, reconciliation and monthly JV's and place order for new inventory when needed.
Analyze the success of the program on a monthly basis and provide recommendations for improvement.
Manage collateral of material and determine additional opportunities for the promotion of the program.
Miscellaneous
Assist Marketing Managers with lead generation programs, as necessary.
Set an excellent Management example and professional image to all Company personnel and to the public.
Assist the Marketing Department with other duties, as assigned.
GUIDELINES TO EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE
Meet with the Senior Marketing Manager on an ongoing basis to discuss new or opportunities and challenges. Provide solutions to challenges and exploit opportunities in a reasonable and affirmative manner.
Meet with the Senior Marketing Manager weekly to review the status of all current and projected activities to ensure that schedules are being adhered to and deadlines respected.
Maintain close and regular contact with Marketing Managers, Business Analysis, Organizations and Agencies with regard to marketing challenges and opportunities.
