CBRE's Omaha Marketing Specialist recommends and rolls out strategies to achieve marketing and business development goals for all business lines in the office. Work may include proposals, presentations and other revenue-generating materials; promotional materials for the department and the company; and writing and editing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares presentations and proposals for new business development.
Makes recommendations to ensure that all materials meet established standards for branding and messaging.
Creates a wide variety of templated, corporate-branded marketing materials that may include maps, advertisements, market reports and brochures, as well as in-house and client presentations. Advanced desktop, graphic and mapping software may be used. Most deliverables are prepared in InDesign.
Reviews internal and external collateral materials, proofreads content, ensures appropriate branding and approves materials for final distribution.
Helps local office leadership prepare ad hoc marketing materials as needed.
Manages entire projects from inception through completion. Oversees content and collateral development.
Maintains a strong command of project schedule and status. Completes each project in a timely manner or communicates an alternative plan.
Provides excellent customer service. Responds promptly to client requests, meets commitments and manages the demands of internal clients.
Demonstrates professionalism. Approaches others tactfully and reacts well under pressure.
Accepts responsibility for own actions and follows through on commitments. Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of status or position.
Maintains and updates marketing library of standard company boilerplate proposals, presentations and other collateral materials.
Provides staff with marketing education and training on tools and resources, as well as technical assistance.
Serves as the primary point of contact for internal clients to access resources across the CBRE platform.
Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year college or university and a minimum of two to four years of related experience and/or training.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to internal clients. Must be able to present information effectively.
Basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages.
Intermediate analytical and quantitative skills required. Comprehend, analyze and interpret documents. Resolve situations involving several options.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate skills with various software programs such as Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite. InDesign skills are a must.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to coworkers and supervisor.
