Position Summary:

This position will manage the global programs, being the point person with Global Marketing for all new strategies cascaded into the North America region. The successful candidate will capture and document product and market positioning, and drive the North America marketing team to respond to new strategies with functional tactic planning. Driving regular meetings with the Marketing Analyst is also required, to review program status and refine programs if applicable.

In addition, the role will support Channel Marketing, in the execution of tactics, against stringent deadlines and budgets. This will involve working the Creative Team on partner assets and with third parties, specifically with Point of Purchase projects. The role also collates partner metrics and directs them to the Marketing Analyst for group review.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage and facilitate the project execution of North America strategies, from project inception through deliverables, against critical deadlines and budgets.

  • Work with broader team to evaluate strategic approach to execute successful North America tactics.

  • Work with internal team to define requirements and establish deliverable needs, and project manage execution of deliverables with Global Marketing.

  • Drive regular meetings with Marketing Analyst to review CSU/key program health; investigate findings, discuss with team, refine programs as applicable

  • Develop active working relationships with Global Marketing, CSU's, North America Business Development teams.

  • Insure streamlining and continuous improvement of processes and procedures for efficient and effective delivery of tactical plans locally and, reported up to Global Marketing.

  • Deliver monthly summaries of new product programs to the regional sales organization.

  • Perform other job related duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education Requirements:
    Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Management, Merchandising or a field relevant to the essential functions of this job description

  • Minimum of 2 years experience performing a role substantially similar to the essential functions of this job description

  • Strong problem solving and time management skills, strong project management and document management is required

  • High standards on follow up, follow through and managing project timelines on time within budget

  • The ability to multitask, be flexible to work across multiple points of contact within a global organization, take the lead on scheduling meetings and project kickoffs

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Demonstrated strong, clear and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well across the organization

  • Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work proactively and effectively with multiple priorities under minimal supervision

Desired Characteristics:

  • PMO certification is a plus

  • Experience within AV or MI industry or similar is preferred

He/she will be responsible for collection and dissemination of announcements as well as the development and upkeep of internal documents and database of information. In addition, he/she is responsible for meeting media deadlines and deployment of media deliverables. The Sr. Marketing Specialist also develops, implements, and monitors NPI marking activity that serves to increase market awareness and increase market share. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities but interfaces daily with outside agencies and partners to achieve goals in a collaborative nature. Job Responsibilities: * Work closely with sales organization to define strategic marketing support needs and determine optimal ways to support those needs * Manage and engage in development of launch events for key NPI's. * Plan and execute demonstrations, competitive comparisons or product use case installations for customer meetings and trade events * Manage third party agencies such as PR and or marketing agencies. Merchandising and Display agencies across the region. * Communicate with critical key sales territory managers to ensure all marketing/sales materials and assets are distributed and managed properly. * Create and manage training development plans to be executed by the training specialist and/or 3rd party vendor. * Weekly distribution and analysis of sell through and retail strategy * Responsible for periodic research, market trends and competitive retail intelligence analyses and reports * Work closely with sales organization to define strategic marketing support needs and determine optimal ways to support those needs * Develop and distribute sales support materials for regional/local training events on a timely manner. * Analyze customers and competitors * Manage trade creative, sales creative, customer-specific creative, digital creative and briefings. Manage projects with creative agencies and ensure the projects are completed within the deadline. * Oversee and plan all media execution and creative. Ensure all messaging and materials are aligned with the brand campaign and maximally effective.
