Position Summary:

We are looking for an ambitious Marketing Specialist to join our team and be responsible for strategizing and coordinating the inbound lead generation efforts of the Marketing/Communications team through various marketing areas including paid channels management, marketing metrics analysis, social media management and Search Engine Optimization efforts.

General Duties:

  • Marketing metrics analysis: Bring analysis and insights to the effectiveness of marketing programs, campaigns and channels by compiling and analyzing data from multiple sources.

  • Social media management: Increase Concordia Nebraska's brand awareness by implementing content strategies across a number of platforms.

  • SEO management: Define and implement unified SEO strategies that will drive long-term, sustainable website traffic.

  • Paid channels management: Discover and manage paid marketing channels, including media platforms to be used to relay campaign messages to prospective students. Examples include programmatic advertising channels, ConnectedTV, Out-of-Home and paid social media ads.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.

  • This is an entry-level position. Any previous marketing experience with the following are preferred; not required:

  • Measuring and adjusting SEO efforts according to lead generation goals.

  • Managing social media accounts on a variety of platforms.

  • Proven experience and skills in compiling metrics, gleaning insights from the data and ability to clearly articulate findings to marketing team and larger groups as necessary.

  • Proficient in the use of software applications including Microsoft applications, databases, spreadsheets and word processing required.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate professionally with a diverse constituency.

  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and produce accurate and high quality work.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with a team of creative professionals and oversee the details of a multi-faceted staff group.

  • Demonstrate character qualities of enthusiasm, courtesy, flexibility, integrity, gratitude, kindness, self-control, perseverance, and punctuality.

  • Be professional and courteous in dealing with students, families, faculty and staff, and the general public.

  • Commitment to an environment of encouragement, teamwork, and excellence within a Christian University.

  • Some travel may be required; valid drivers license is also required.
