PURPOSE:

The Marketing Specialist will participate in the development and execution of marketing programs, strategy and position,

and innovation for a group of multiple brands. The position will collaborate with the Brand Management/Marketing Team on

projects that include brand presentations for the whole portfolio, sales materials, brand trainings and social media presence.

This position will the point of contact for the marketing team regarding daily workflow for all brands, products and

campaigns. The Marketing Specialist will work hand in hand with sales, product business management, and creative

design.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Management (50%)

  • Provide Peer-Leadership to a cross-functional team comprised of Creative, Product Business Management, and

Sales to create alignment and smooth release of products/rebrands.

  • Own all elements of marketing plan execution, including budget tracking, promotions, the development of

communication materials (sales, customer service, trade and consumer), and any other elements identified

  • Provide ideas and concepts to initiate job start documents consisting of all pertinent information while working with

the Brand Management team so the Creative Team can begin design of packaging, sell sheets and/or POS

materials

  • Create and manage project timelines and workflow for all marketing materials and planning of Project Update

meeting, while adhering to workflow process to ensure project deadlines are met

  • Proof all marketing materials including sell sheets, presentations, social media content/posts and internal

communication to ensure accuracy, and make recommendations for revisions as needed

Marketing Creative (30%)

  • Write copy in identified voice and tone of brand for use in various communication pieces

  • Develop content, write copy and provide input on photography direction in conjunction with Brand Manager and

digital team for executing brand strategies on all digital platforms

  • Manage and create both marketing and content calendars with Brand Managers for all marketing activity,

promotions, websites and social media accounts

  • Special projects as assigned and provide support needed to achieve overall brand sales goals

  • Manage social media by developing and implementing a social media strategy, coordinating goals and tactics with

wholesale and direct-to-consumer initiatives.

Communication (20%)

  • Responsible for maintaining professional business relations and management with external business contacts and

agencies (HEART, QUAD, and others).

  • Filter, communicate and respond to advertising and public relations requests - including monitoring social media

and/or working with outside firms

  • Ability to present brand, product and marketing concept presentations internally to leadership including Director

and VP levels (and to customers in a tradeshow or event environment as a primary representative).

  • Responsible for monthly reporting of all social KPIs and analytics to management

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education/ Certifications:

  • Bachelor degree Required

Experience:

  • 3+yrs related experience in marketing

Other Skills/ Abilities:

  • Thorough knowledge of company products, services and competitors' product lines

  • Strong knowledge or promotion techniques, pricing policies, distribution channels and public relations

  • Knowledge of certification processes for food related products preferred

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong project management skills

  • Strong organizational and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to work independently on projects as well as work as a member of a team

  • Willingness to travel (approximately 2-4x per year)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage various projects at the same time

  • Prior experience working on cross functional teams

Responsibilities: The Event Marketing Specialist assists leaders in the Global Lottery Marketing function in project managing and supporting industry association events and customer meetings. This person must be able to roll up her/his sleeves and: * Liaise with internal teams to understand and address event or meeting needs that meet business objectives * Work closely with venues to drive project management for events * Work closely with multiple different global organizations across IGT * Direct the IGT Creative Services team in its production of event marketing collateral * Ensure that visual communication and brand standards are met * Oversee deliverables, timelines and budgets * Provide summary reports as necessary to track projects and events against deliverables, budgets and for executive management review. * Help the team to present event strategies and solutions to upper management * Work productively and effectively with industry event producing organizations. * Function as a partner who is eager to support, drive and is pleasant to work with. * Organize logistics for domestic and international events and conferences * Work directly with hotel sales teams to coordinate room blocks, meeting rooms, audio visual needs and catering as necessary. * Support invoice processing for third party vendors and event expenses. * Effectively communicate with internal colleagues to handle registration, hotel accommodations, transportation, customer dinner reservations, and special events information * Manage promotional item budget and re-allocations. * Provide the highest regard of customer service and support for domestic and international internal sales and marketing personnel during and for team meetings, conferences, workshops, sales rallies, internal training, and special events.
