We are looking for a hardworking and high-energy individual to join our expanding Advertising Operations team to help take GoDaddy's Digital Advertising to the next level. This position will primarily support advertising operations efforts on the ad tech team. The Marketing Specialist, Advertising Tech, will be responsible for scheduling, implementing, trafficking, QA, and reporting of GoDaddy's media campaigns. This person will work with the Sr Marketing Manager to build out this new area of expertise within GoDaddy.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as internal expert on all things ad server/serving

  • Work with internal and external agencies to stay informed of QA development - gather creative assets and see through to implementation

  • Advise on standard turn-around and trafficking timelines

  • Manage trafficking sheets for channels and campaigns, upload into ad server

  • Set campaign flights and apply targeting

  • Work with and advise channel teams, global marketing managers, and agency partners to understand tagging needs

  • Maintain day to day relationships with marketing managers and agencies from campaign ideation through to optimization

  • Implement and maintain QA standard methodologies. Help maintain data and tracking integrity

  • Troubleshoot technical issues both internally and with third party vendors

  • Assist with facilitation of internal and external site tag requests related to advertising

  • Develop relationships with agency and internal partners

  • Support framework for first party re-marketing efforts

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of online experience in Advertising Operations or media

  • Understanding of advertising industry from agency or publisher side

  • Hands on experience with ad server (Google Campaign Manager) preferred but not required

  • General understanding of online advertising trends, concepts and metrics

  • Experience with campaign tracking and management across display (direct and brand), Affiliate, Si, SEO, Social, a plus

  • Analytical and problem solving skills

  • Superb attention to detail

  • Ability to work with management

  • Excel wizardry a plus

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (specifically the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences)

  • Can rapidly adapt to new processes and learn new syst
