In this position, you will collaborate with our marketing and sales teams to support a portfolio of products: Commercial UAV Expo Americas, Commercial UAV Expo Europe, and Commercial UAV News. Your work will include developing, growing, and expanding our marketing channels through social media outreach, website content, and promotions. This is a paid internship, ideal for candidates interested in hands-on marketing experience!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tactical support for marketing two events and one news site across multiple channels including online and print campaigns and materials; email and direct mail; social media; website content and optimization; paid media; PR.

  • Coordinates publications, associations, and barter deliverables such as banner and print ad creation and placement, email deployments, barter booths.

  • Contributes to website updates and maintenance including posting barter logos.

  • Some assistance in writing copy for websites, press releases, and promotions.

  • Monitors/posts to social media on a daily basis, support growth of social media presence.

  • Distributes press releases through wire service and social media, post to sites.

  • Deploys sales emails to prospects and current exhibitors.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

Knowledge:
2 years' work or educational experience in marketing. Knowledge of WordPress or similar CMS a plus. Microsoft office suite, social media (Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn), some knowledge of Google AdWords, Google Analytics is a plus but not necessary.

Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication required.

Abilities: Organization, flexibility, multi-tasking, attention to detail, initiative, innovation, teamwork, cooperation, working across departments.

This opportunity can either be a paid internship or can be credited towards the student’s degree. The program will last 11 weeks and begin on June 3rd and end on August 16th. This opportunity will be full-time (37.5 hours per week).</p> <p>The Communications Intern will assist other staff in producing a range of corporate communications content as well as researching and assisting with the company's public relations efforts.
