In this role, the summer intern will analyze data to provide customer driven product ranges to contribute to the development and achievement of specific category sales plans, such as:

  • Collecting and analyzing market segment data to identify trends, prospective buyers and key industry contacts

  • Supporting the marketing team during research, presentations and campaign launches

  • Contributing content development and campaign orchestration

  • Analyzing financial trends (sales, wastage, profit margins); pricing and promotion trends; customer trends (customer segmentation, destination, departments, demographics, market share); product trends (winners and losers); and market trends.

  • Keeps abreast of competitor trends on all of the above

  • Based on trends analysis, makes recommendations to category team

The internship program lasts approximately 12 weeks.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Marketing or Business related major, with emphasis on Marketing

  • Candidates at the undergraduate level must have completed their junior year of studies

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills

  • Software knowledge in Office (Excel and PowerPoint), statistical and forecast programs

  • Working knowledge with digital marketing tools

  • Ability to work both independently (once trained) and with a team
