Position Summary

Univision Station Groups, Inc. has an opening for a Marketing and Promotions Manager work closely with Content to create a strategy that will support the rating goals initiatives for the whole cluster, while at the same time developing a unique plan for each of the stations and products. Create the marketing and promotions strategy based on programing goals for the various Los Angeles Radio stations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for department's budget.

  • Accountability of the on-air strategy to effectively use inventory to promote newscasts, events, radio stations and promotions, PSA's and company initiatives across all brands.

  • Create and execute marketing plans for special events such as K-LOVE LIVE and BMF Fest. Be the point person and oversee the production for concert and events.

  • Oversee OOH branding campaigns such as; K-LOVE's "Omar y Argelia Son Como Tu" which includes bulletins, cinema, digital/social media and grassroots.

  • Work with all departments to develop and execute promotional opportunities maintaining on-air strategy, increasing visibility in the market, TSL and Cume.

  • Collaborate with content to create unforgettable and unique consumer experiences, supervise vPromotions.

  • Responsible for the development, execution and fulfillment of sales promotions including working with legal/risk management for rules and regulations, on-air message, and branding.

  • Accountable for managing partnerships with existing clients, sports franchises, concert promoters and community partners increasing visibility of the brands/talent in the market and creating third party opportunities for sales team.

  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders in the company to create synergies and cross-promotional opportunities such as UCI's Creator Network and the integration of local radio talent in shows like Despierta America, PLN, Balon de Oro, El Gordo y La Flaca, etc.

  • Liaison with content directors, executive producers and news director for radio on-air promotions. Communicating to the AE's and managers the latest events, marketing radio packages and talent announcements.

  • Prepare presentations, reports and communication documents for internal and external use.

  • Assist in the development marketing and promotional materials, including on-air, print and digital collateral.

  • Keep track of marketing promotional materials to meet deadlines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 5+ years prior experience in radio marketing and promotions field preferred.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) spoken required.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of vPromotions, vCreative.

  • Spanish written skills required.

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook

  • Previous marketing/media experience

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be willing to work from office in Los Angeles, CA.

  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation

  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
