What you'll be doing!

Pro Staff Interaction (20%)

Working with our Competitive Shooting Program. Works with Pro Staff team members who represent Bowtech products in a variety of media sources, events, and tournaments.:

  • Tier 1- Professionals and Amateur Shooting Staff

  • Coordinates Bowtech tournament booth representation as outlined by specific tournament agreements in place.

  • Markets the company's product lines working with Bowtech's Pro Staff team helping manage their presence at events related to the competitive archery industry.

  • Travels to events to support Pro Staff team members as need.

  • Get commitments from Pro Staff team members to represent Bowtech at upcoming events and creates, develops and issues contracts to Pro Staff team members for event attendance.

  • With approval develops and manages all sponsorships with archery organizations and other opportunities as appropriate.

  • Event coordination for Pro Staff team members while in attendance.

  • Acts as the liaison between events and the assigned Pro Staff team members.

  • Responsible for all bow orders, event planning, booth coordination between shows, logistics and communication with Competitive shooting staff.

  • Budget responsibility for shooting program, orders all gear, including shooter bows, and tracks all expenses in the shooting program for the Pro Staff.

  • Communicates with the management team by submitting activity and results reports on Pro Staff events completed, scheduled, event success, sales leads, etc.

  • Responsible for publicizing Pro Staff wins across Bowtech properties (web, social, email, TXT, internal) as well as media outlets (PR, Archery Wire, etc.) to maximize exposure of our shooting staff and positions Bowtech as the leader in professional archery.

Dealer Creative Services (20%)

Responsible for developing dealer oriented digital initiatives, working with the respective Territory Mangers. Works with Graphic Designers to create design concepts and creative content. They would also track and report progress and analyze the project throughout the development process.

Coordinates the design and production of visual digital media used for advertising, broadcast, and web communications. Oversees creation of art, photo, video, and layout design. Establishes and implements design and format standards and processes to produce consistent and high-quality results. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.

  • Communicating with Territory Managers to coordinate dealer ad requests

  • Communicate with dealers regarding ad initiatives specific requests and deliverables

  • Work with graphic designers to create and present specific ad creative for approval

  • Coordinate dealer-oriented product videos

  • Work with specific ad platforms to submit, and coordinate approval of display ads

Training Coordinator (5%)

Develops training programs under the direction of Director of Marketing and Brand Manager to include product messaging, service and troubleshooting, as well as feature/benefit/advantage training. Champion any service-based training programs i.e. Sparc. This would apply to Celebrities, Content Ambassadors, ProStaff, Territory Managers (in-field training programs), as well and internal teams. Training is dealer and sales rep facing. Would be responsible for facilitating training collateral and overall management of onboarding and updating training program.

Merchandise (10%)

Coordinate merchandise sales discretionary program.

  • Monitoring inventory on hand, monitoring Territory Manager's account and processing requests.
  • communicate discontinued items, run reports and provide analysis.

Coordinates dealer merchandising and POP program working with Territory Managers to increase brand visibility among dealer base.

  • Assist in planning and forecasting appropriate inventory levels

  • Announce all POP initiatives to internal sales and support teams.

  • Assist in creation and update of POP catalog.

  • Work with Territory Managers to determine the level of POP accounts qualify for based on sales levels.

  • Order POP material based on requests.

  • Audit all communication sites as they relate to POP.

Social Media (25%)

Develops and coordinates innovative and creative social media presence across various social media platforms while working with Brand Manager to align with the overall content plan, ensuring various brand consistency.

  • Coordinates, requests and manages incoming content from digital partners to use social, brand websites and advertisement platforms.

  • Explore and identify new ways to engage social media networks to reach our target audiences and compel them to purchase

  • Continually scans all social media platforms and responds to online questions and commentary

  • Collaborates with Graphic Designer and marketing team to ensure cohesive social media identities

  • Keep track of social media trends and competition, and continually evolve the social strategy across multiple platforms

  • Deliver monthly reports and statistics showing the effectiveness of online activities and make recommendations for enhancements and improvements

  • Support the marketing team with social media activities related to trade shows and other events as required

Marketing (20%)

Marketing coordinator interacts with sales, product development, and customer service to ensure that the collateral and other communications reflect the Bowtech brand accurately.

Perform a range of administrative and marketing support duties related to the daily operations of the marketing department

  • Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.

  • Plans meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments. Point person for ATA show coordination.

  • Assist the Marketing Director and/or Brand Manager with the planning and implementation of a strategic, overall marketing and communications program for the company. This includes, but is not limited to, targeted consumer initiatives, special events, and public relations.

  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

What you need to bring to the Job:

  • A least 3 years' sales, marketing, and social media experience

  • Provided outstanding customer service for at least 5 years, this job requires interfacing with our Pro Staff, our dealers and fellow staff members

  • Preference will be given to those with experience in the sporting goods industry (ideally archery) and those who have an education in Marketing, Sales or Social Media.

  • Expert knowledge or the ability to quickly learn our product lines, and a strong understanding of the construction and workings of our products.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills this will include telephone techniques, face-to-face presentations and writing skills for marketing and social media.

  • The ability to understand and work to a budget

  • Project Management and event coordination
