This Summer internship of 2020 you could help US Category Marketing team manage day to day activities and data analytics. This role will include day to day program management, interfacing directly with the sales and category teams, ROI analysis and strategy development.
This position will provide many opportunities to learn and assist with category programs such as HP Partner First, HP Customer Relationship management (CRM, Targeted Marketing). The sales and marketing intern will be required to be extremely organized with a passion for the customer. The ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously are key. Core responsibilities include: Day to Day interaction with vendors, answering sales reps questions will require learning our channel strategy, key players, how the program works, etc.
Education and Experience Required:
2 or 3yr student pursuing a Bachelor' s degree in Business, Management, Finance or related
Must be located in the Boise or Vancouver, WA area
Strong Business Acumen need to understand what drives the Profit & Loss
Familiarity with the core marketing and Product Life Cycle marketing principles
Ability to review sales data from Partners and then recommend appropriate actions based on the data to drive Incremental sales and better ROI for the business
Experience creating basic dashboard scorecards to keep the Management team updated
Comfortable working with Partner's analytics/reporting platforms and data to identify critical levers that can influence sales
Extremely organized individual with the ability to juggle multiple tasks
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
